Tired of looking week and not so strong in appearance? Well there are always ways out of things that you don’t like and want to change. Many guys dream of gaining mass and in order to achieve this particular desire, they spend hours in the gym but never get to see their muscle size increases.

However, what these people don’t realise is that just by working out in the gym will not help you in gaining mass as there are other things you need to do as well. Most important of those things is eating, and by eating, it means having a diet that will work for your muscle.

It is important that your diet plan for gaining mass starts at around 8:00 AM every morning. This meal should consist of two eggs, oatmeal with fresh or frozen berries. You also need to drink at least one cup of fat-free milk. You can also add a multivitamin supplement to your morning drink. It is important that you start your day with this meal as eggs and milk have the highest quality protein. Oatmeal on the other hand, burns carbohydrates slowly which gives you long-lasting energy.

And, if you don’t have oatmeal, and berries, go for cottage cheese and cereals that have raisins.

An hour after you have had your breakfast, drink a glass of water as it is very important for your muscles. Furthermore, it will prevent you from dehydration.

At around 11, you can take a can of tuna, two cups of salad. You can make your own salad as well but make sure that it is a mixture of fresh vegetables. Tuna is littered with a perfect amount of protein while green vegetables have a lot of magnesium in them which is immense to muscle function and testosterone production.

In order to increase muscle mass, you have to make sure that all calories that you get, come from protein as they have amino acids, which are the building blocks of your body and also build new muscle tissue. It is important that you consume at least 0.7 grams of protein for every pound of your body weight every day.

However, you should bear in mind that diet alone will not build muscle. This is even more important if you don’t have a lot of weight. Work out in the gym on a daily basis in order to get your muscles in order.
